I’ve made it a personal mission to ensure that my kids don’t grow up creatively stunted (like their mama who didn’t find her inner creative streak until age 35). So when I was given an opportunity to test IdeaPaint, I was stoked (as were my kids). Check out the full review in my latest column at Boston Mamas. Enjoy!
Reminds me of the excitement and “naughty” feeling that Georgia and Henry had drawing on the walls of 91st Street!
Hey Hi,
I enjoyed your post about Ideapaint on BostonMamas, and I love your style all over.
Question before I use that dryerase board like coating though… How is it removed if I change my mind?… nothing on the Ideapaint website about removal…
Just a bit cautious…
Oh and thanks for the idea about the Ikea cable for inspiration board – it’ll work well to layout my project planning and organizational instruction sheets temporarily, you know like large post it notes which I can re-arrange.
thanks, George.
Hi George,
Thanks for the sweet compliments! Regarding the removal of IdeaPaint…it just so happens I have firsthand experience on this from just days ago! We’re putting our house on the market (posts on that forthcoming) and in the process of preparing, we painted over our IdeaPaint wall. We used standard KILZ primer, then painted over the primer with two coats of Ben Moore BEN latex paint in eggshell finish. It’s like it was never there (and I already miss it)!
Thanks for reading!
